When I was 4 years old we lived in a Quonset hut. I would paint the outside with water from a coffee can and watch the surface change color and then change back as it dried, it was hypnotic.

I started taking photos with a box camera in my early teens and have been shooting ever since. First you shoot the details, then the big picture and if you�re lucky you finally see that what you�re after is the concept.�

I�ve tried to do a lot of other things in my life, but can�t get away from the visual. Paint, light, ink, crayons; it doesn�t matter as long as you can get someone to look at it and see something beyond the immediate image, connect with something that really isn�t there.
