Under the banner of Brooklyn Travels™, Tom and Gina Piccolo take photo images and through digital processing and painting create unique works of art customized to the medium selected for the print.
A lifetime visual artist and video journalist, Tom Piccolo has explored printing enhanced photos in an ever-widening range of media. Using his own photographic images and those of his wife, Gina DeSantis Piccolo, they began creating works on canvas, and explored qualities of prints in glass, metal, acrylic, photo panel, crystal, slate, and fleece.
Our 2018 Artist Studio Tour Exhibit features:
THE MAPLEWOOD ROOM
A collection of images from Maplewood NJ in various media. The central feature is the Maplewood Blanket, a 40 x 50 printed fleece, a collage by Tom Piccolo with photos by Tom & Gina Piccolo.
