Linda Setzer has had two professional careers—acting and calligraphy/book arts. She has appeared in more than 30 productions in New York and New Jersey, often at Luna Stage which is now in West Orange. She is also well known as a calligrapher (as Linda Dannhauser) and appears in the recent book “100 New York Calligraphers” by Cynthia Danzig. Linda has always had an interest in book arts and in 2011 began making her own books. These are completely handmade and include her calligraphy as well as her photographs. Lately, she has been working on collages and tunnel books, which are included in this show. Linda lives in South Orange with her husband, Philip Setzer. Their daughter, Katia Setzer, who now lives in Philadelphia, is also an artist, painting in oil and watercolor.
